Chaos Engine is a gift shop for people who revel in the absurdity of existence through a darkly irreverent point of view. 

Founded and operated by Nashville-based artist and graphic designer Lindsey Turner, Chaos Engine (called Eyedot Creative until 2025) is sort of like a gift shop for the apocalypse — bleak, but fun! 

Chaos Engine's online shop is slated to launch on April 1, 2026. We picked that date in case we don't get everything done in time, so we can say it was all an elaborate prank. We are either terrible or amazing at marketing!

Day after day, the Chaos Engine (aka Lindsey's overheated brain) compulsively slurps up the mundane yet ridiculous details of life in a late capitalist dystopia, then churns and burns those details as fuel to make fun stuff for terrible times. We're talking greeting cards, stickers, decor, clothing, accessories, and other delightful trinkets you'll want to squirrel away in your literal and emotional fallout shelter of choice.

For Chaos Engine, Lindsey combines original digital and analog illustrations, public domain and stock images, and multimedia graphic design techniques to explore the serendipitous hilarity that happens when you get out of the way and let an idea run away with itself ... and sometimes trip and fall ... off a cliff. Falling is funny! Also she gets bored easily and forgets what she was working on a lot and she likes to experiment without a strategic direction in mind and did she mention she has raging inattentive ADHD and is a bit chaotic in her creativity and can't imagine existing without constantly processing the ping-pong ball that is her thoughts through silly, dumb, and emotionally cathartic artwork? Because that's true too. 

Chaos Engine's products riff on themes that span pop culture, horror, sci-fi, politics, brainrot humor, burnout, existential dread, ennui, aging, anxiety, and living through a tech-dependent late capitalist dystopia as a chronically ill person unpacking a whole suitcase of traumas and epigenetic wounds.
